Teachers are facilitators and instructors of students. They are considered the basic unit of a nation. They nourish the nation builders. Teachers are called spiritual parents of students. Teaching is a profession of prophets. Our Last Prophet (PBUH) used to say, “I’ve been sent as a teacher”.
In the history, teachers were more honored and privileged. Today’s teachers face numerous problems. Students violate rules of educational premises and don’t give much regard to their teachers. As we have entered into the digital era where the demand of digital technology has been increased in the blink of an eye. Instead of availing opportunities of physical classes, majority of students prefer to watch recorded lectures but just for a while. What is actual way of respecting teachers is to obey those esteemed personalities regarding studies. Teachers enlighten the paths of others by consuming their energies. In the return, they need a token of appreciation from all sides.
On the contrary, teachers are being exploited, humiliated, discriminated and harassed pathetically. It’s an ordinary thing everywhere to over-burden teachers by imposing excessive work on them. Highly qualified, professional and experienced teachers are less paid due to favoritism. Teachers are bound to work more than working hours. Instead of hiring another faculty member, double work is expected from the existing teachers.
In other countries teachers are highly paid, they are equally treated as an MNA. It’s essential to make teachers satisfied by giving them reasonable and handsome salary packages. Teachers need to be less pressurized. Different orientations and training sessions related to teaching workshops must be held on annual basis. Before going to classrooms teachers must be fully equipped. Pre-planned lesson planning and consulting with books by proper research makes teachers successful in the field of teaching.
Whatever teaching methodologies or strategies teachers adopt according to the age group of students that must contains valid objectives. Lesson plans must be designed by using virtual classes through projectors. For a positive impact, teachers ought to develop a soft-spoken behavior with students so they can easily discuss their anxiety about studies frankly. Teachers can create book reading environment by persuading students for visiting libraries frequently or studying books on smart phones.
Precisely, if voice of teachers will be listened and Educational Minister Implements some approved policies then an optimistic sense of respect prevails nationwide. In fact, teachers are legacy and a great asset of a civilized nation.
