Islamabad (News Desk) The government advised citizens worried about the inflationary storm in Egypt to eat chicken claws.
According to foreign media, Egypt, the most populous country in the Arab world, is facing a record currency crisis. The worst economic situation has made it impossible for common people to buy basic food items.
According to the report, the price of chicken has increased from 30 Egyptian pounds to 70 Egyptian pounds after which the government has advised the public to eat chicken feet.
In Egypt, chicken claws are considered to be thrown away rather than eaten, and eating them is considered a sign of extreme poverty.
Common citizens and celebrities from various fields have criticized the government for this proposal.
